Incentive Scholarship

Spring ‘10

The Washoe Tribe is pleased to announce that eight of our best Higher Education college students divided $9,800. of Incentive Scholarship money this Spring.  Each student received $1,225. for earning a 3.p gpa while full time this past Fall and for continuing full time this Spring.  Congratulations go to these Tribal members who excel in college.

The Incentive Scholarship is based on merit, not need.  Many current Tribal students do not qualify for BIA Higher Education Scholarships because they are over income as determined by a financial aid officer.  However, they can qualify for this scholarship because we do not look at family income.
