The Woodfords Community is located in Markleeville, California, which is part of Alpine County. They have a community center and the Woodfords Indian Education Center for community members to access. The education center offers tutoring services to youth and adults. Adult tutoring starts at 10:30am-2:00pm; youth tutoring is offered from 2:00pm-5:30pm. All classes are offered Monday thru Thursday. The Woodfords Gym is open from 5:00pm to 8:30pm for all community members to utilize. The community council is working on bringing in more cultural activities to promote Washoe culture and history.
