All Constitution & Bylaws Committee meetings are open to Washoe Tribal Members to attend. Members may also call or email any of the committee members listed to provide input throughout the entire process. After committee guidelines are agreed upon and a timeline established, the Constitution & Bylaws Committee will plan meetings in various tribal communities and off-reservation to keep Tribal members informed and provide opportunities for input. Tribal membership comments/opinions and involvement are vital.

The goal of the Constitution & Bylaws Committee is to have our work result in a Secretarial Election in early 2009. Tribal members wishing to vote in a special Secretarial Election will need to register specifically for it in order to vote. All Tribal members will be notified well in advance regarding this special registration, so please stay connected so your voice is heard. Please help ensure future of our Tribe as we embark on this venture together.

Constitution & Bylaws Committee meetings are typically held during the evening between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Please refer to the events calendar for specific meeting dates and times. Please contact any of the officers or Tamara Crawford, tribal secretary-treasurer, for meeting confirmation.
